Attitude! We all need it at times and I guess this quilt has it. I just love the dynamic look of the quilt. It's exciting and fresh and the colours just jump out at you. The pattern's called 9Patch With Attitude, we have some patterns and a couple of kits available in the shop if you're interested, be sure to send an email or give us a call. I just love the name (and think the quilt's pretty good too - not that I as the maker would be at all biased).
Next quilt is from Peggy – remember the Mr Fixit material that came in a week or so ago? Following the pattern “All Star Quilt” – in the shop, and using the lovely fabrics, this is the quilt she made. I know it’s not a great photo, but the quilt is gorgeous. Evol’s going to be busy over the next week or so getting them quilted for us!
Actually she’s going to be busy anyway, because Peggy & I are off to Brisbane to attend a Gloria Loughman workshop this week and Evol’s kindly volunteered to look after the shop for us. The workshop has been organized through Queensland Quilters (both Peggy & I are members) and is titled Luminous Landscapes. I'm looking forward to it.
