Arrived today, making us feel very special. These fabrics are so Cool! Modern prints in hot new colors that contrast against the whitest white, this group pairs bold graphics with fresh florals for a hip, fun-in the-sun summertime feel. Use it to brighten and update any type of project.
Peggy's back from her adventures in Sydney, inspired and itching to stitch - in fact she's already out the front cutting out! We have a Rulers, Tips & Gadgets session this Thursday night at 7:00 and I think we'll all be happy with what she can show us!
On the subject of UFO's this week, I can only say I haven't finished anything from the cupboard this past week, although I was slightly naughty & started on yet another project (what can I say, there are just too many lovely fabrics here)! In the meantime, Christina emailed me an update, so I'll share this, in the hope that it continues to inspire.
Regards, Bev
Christina writes: My mending, sewing and smocking UFO tub is now EMPTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can tell I'm working on the easy projects first:):)
As for the baby swing-it used to belong to Kieren about 13 years ago and after much love the webbing had worn through on the clip. In ONE MORE SLEEP my beloved niece Leah is coming to visit so the swing had to come out the UFO pile to be fixed.
Photos 1, 2 & 3 are gorgeous new skirts made today
Photo 4 is a new smocked dress for big Lacey Allen
Photo 5 is a table runner that took longer than all the other projects put together. It totally fried my brain trying to figure out how to put it together after Melanie spent 2 hours trying to explain it to me..............Bron pinned it together for me and then I still managed to spend another 4 hours trying to add more rows to it.
Last but not least is the baby swing..................
Next week I'll share with you the calculator I was given to add up all my projects.
Untill then, happy sewing:)
